Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 12, 2026. This policy applies to the ForgeTemp app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by SARZ TOV, referred to in this policy as the Service Provider.
Overview
ForgeTemp is a technical companion utility for blacksmiths, bladesmiths, and artisans. It helps users reference steel temperature ranges, track soak timers, review alloy notes, organize project records, and keep workshop notes.
The Application does not collect, log, store, sell, or share personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required. The public SARZ website and the ForgeTemp application are designed without account creation, login, registration, user dashboards, protected routes, or authorization-based access.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The Application does not collect, log, or store any personal information during normal use. ForgeTemp does not require registration, sign-in, user profiles, or account-based authentication.
If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data, such as an ephemeral IP address, may be transmitted only to facilitate network connectivity. This technical protocol data is not retained by SARZ and is not used for tracking.
Location information
This Application does not collect precise real-time location information from your mobile device.
Data Retention
SARZ does not retain personal data from ForgeTemp because the Application does not collect personal data during normal use.
Any favorite heat ranges, timer history, alloy notes, project records, active/completed/archived statuses, heating durations, session status toggles, technical summaries, follow-up notes, workshop note categories, and app settings that may be created inside the Application are intended to remain locally on the user’s device unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.
If a user voluntarily contacts SARZ by email or another external channel, SARZ may retain that correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain business records, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
Data Deletion
Because ForgeTemp does not collect personal information through normal use, uninstalling the Application removes the Application from the user’s device. Local app records stored on the device may also be removed through device-level deletion or app reset controls where available.
If you have voluntarily contacted SARZ or provided information outside the Application, you may request deletion of that information by contacting support@sarz.it.com.
Deletion requests will be handled subject to applicable legal, security, and legitimate business record requirements.
Opt-out rights
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, there is no tracking or data collection to opt out from. You may stop using the Application at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them.
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, children’s personal data is not collected by the Application. If a child voluntarily provides personal information through other means, a parent or guardian should contact SARZ to request deletion.
Security
Because the Application does not collect personal data, the risk of personal data exposure from normal app use is minimal. However, no security system is completely secure. SARZ applies reasonable safeguards to protect systems and any information it may hold through voluntary contact channels.
Data breach notification
Since the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of a data breach affecting personal data from app use is minimal. If a breach occurs involving information voluntarily provided to SARZ, the Service Provider will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
Workshop and safety disclaimer
ForgeTemp is a reference, timer, and workshop logging utility. It does not replace professional training, safety procedures, protective equipment, material testing, heat-treatment standards, or expert metallurgical guidance. Users remain responsible for safe workshop practices and verifying technical information before applying it in real-world metalworking.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
SARZ may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated by posting the updated Privacy Policy with a revised effective date. Where required by law, SARZ will seek consent before material changes take effect.
Your consent
If you voluntarily provide information to SARZ and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
